Refunds
Refund Policy
Full access to Pass New York is a one-time $59.99 purchase. There is no subscription and nothing to cancel. The company that sold you the purchase handles any refund: Apple or Google for purchases in the phone app, and Paddle for purchases in the web study app. This page shows you each route.

1. Where refunds are handled
Nothing is sold on this website. Full access is bought in one of two places: inside the phone app through the Apple App Store or Google Play, or in the Pass New York web study app (app.passnewyorkrealestate.com), where the purchase is sold by Paddle. The company that took your payment is the one that can refund it. We cannot issue a refund to your card ourselves or see your payment details.
2. Bought on iPhone or iPad
- Go to reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with the Apple Account you used to buy.
- Choose Request a refund, pick a reason and select the Pass New York purchase.
- Apple reviews the request and tells you the result by email. Apple decides refund requests under its own policy.
3. Bought on Android
Google Play lets you request a refund for an in-app purchase in the Play Store app or on play.google.com under your order history. Google handles requests itself for a short period after purchase, as described in its refund help page.
After that period, contact us with your Google Play order number (it starts with GPA) and we will review the request with you.
4. Bought in the web study app
Web purchases are sold and processed by Paddle (Paddle.com Market Ltd), our authorized reseller and merchant of record. Paddle handles payment, tax, invoicing, billing support and refunds under its buyer terms, and Paddle appears as the seller on your receipt and card statement.
Paddle may consider discretionary refund requests made within 14 days of the transaction. Submitting a request does not guarantee a refund, and this does not affect any statutory rights you have.
To ask for a refund, use the link in your Paddle receipt email or visit paddle.net and choose the refund option. You can read Paddle’s refund policy first.
5. When we will help
We want you to feel the purchase was worth it. Contact us and we will do our best to help, including supporting your refund request with Apple, Google or Paddle, if:
- you were charged twice or bought by mistake;
- full access did not unlock and Restore purchase, or signing in again, did not fix it; or
- a problem with the app stopped you from using what you paid for and we could not fix it.
If full access is missing on a new phone, you usually do not need a refund. Sign in to the same Apple or Google account used to buy, then tap Restore purchase in the app. One purchase unlocks full access on your phone and in the web study app, so if it is missing in one of them, check that you are signed in with the same Pass New York account you bought with.
6. After a refund
When a purchase is refunded or reversed, the full access it granted is removed, in the phone app and in the web study app. Your free access, and the study progress saved on your device or in your account, stays.
7. Your legal rights
This policy does not limit any refund or consumer right you have under the law where you live.
8. Contact
Use Settings, Contact support in the app. Include where you bought (App Store, Google Play or Paddle) and your order number or receipt reference, but never your card details. See also our Terms of Use.
